About

Pimhatai, Keith, and Edward
      Koslowsky

I have a Master of Arts in Multimedia Journalism from Emerson College. Prior to moving to Boston to attend graduate school, I was a television reporter in Bangkok, Thailand. I have two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Political Science and another in Communications.

I have worked as a freelance journalist for several media organizations including South End News in Boston and The Associated Press in Thailand. I changed my career in 2012 and worked in Front of House management for Emerson College's six performing arts venues. Currently, I work at Boston Children's Hospital, as a Program Coordinator in the Division of Infectious Diseases.

I am a mom to an 8-year-old and an active volunteer in the community. I have volunteered for the PTA and have helped out as a substitute teacher. I regularly donate platelets and plasma with the American Red Cross. I am a member of the Hanover Unity Council, working to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Hanover. I had served as a member of the town's Transfer Station Study Committee. In 2022, I started a story time series at the library, focusing on marginalized subjects. This year I helped organize a book club for adults called "Stories from Everywhere".

I moved to Hanover in 2014, where my husband's family have lived for three generations.

As a trustee, I will continue to offer more opportunities for our kids to get involved in our community, staying relevant with what our community can check out, from books, to dvds, to even all those Nintendo switch games that our kids all love to play. Our library isn't just an archive of books, it should be a place that continues to evolve as technology evolves and trends change. Of course we need to do that responsively. We need to look at recommendations from our staff and make a decision that works within our means.
